Executive Assistant

Growing up in Fresno, California, Reginald Webber Jr embraced a kaleidoscope of interests—from wrestling and music to dance and community service. His college years at CSU, Fullerton, marked the beginning of his dance career, but politics always lingered in his heart, evident in his voter registration efforts within his fraternity.

Los Angeles became the stage for Reginald’s artistic endeavors, where he danced for industry icon Debbie Allen and toured globally with Mystic India: The World Tour, performing for luminaries like Dolly Parton, the Sheik of Bahrain, and on SABC in South Africa. A poignant promise led him to New York City in 2013, where his dance talent graced stages and screens worldwide, including a stint in Hairspray with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Protests during the pandemic fueled Reginald’s activism as he championed causes close to his heart, notably creating a T-shirt initiative raising money for Black and queer liberation. His political journey saw him working for campaigns in California, NYC and New Jersey, eventually ending as the field director for congressman Donald Payne Jr. One of his proudest achievements is getting to work as a canvass manager for Governor Phil Murphy and the late Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver in their historic race in 2021. After a short period at Google, he decided to pivot to a role as the Executive Assistant of Garden State Equality, reflecting his enduring commitment to restorative justice.

He currently resides in East Orange with his husband, Jasmin, and their mini goldendoodle, Bowie.
